1. Introduction to ISO50001
The energy management system is the product of building an “environmentally friendly and resource-saving society” in China. On December 31, 2012, China issued the “Energy Management System Requirements” GB/T 23331-2012/ISO 50001:2011, which was officially implemented on October 1, 2013. The standard draws on the successful model of quality management system and environmental management system, combines the characteristics and special requirements of energy management, applies the concept of system management and the whole process, adopts the internationally popular PDCA model, and integrates management and energy-saving technologies. Guide the organization to identify effective energy management system elements and processes, help organizations achieve energy goals and objectives, and improve the efficiency and level of organizational energy management.
